AMAZING Slow Cooker Recipe: Brocolli and Beef Pasta

Here is one of my all time favorite slow cooker recipes.

Brocolli and Beef Pasta

2 cups broccoli florets
1 onion, thinly sliced
1/2 tespoon dried basil leaves
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
1 can (14 1/2 ounces) Italian style diced tomatoes, undrained.
3/4 cup beef broth
1 lbs lean ground beef
2 cloves garlic minced
2 tablespoons tomato paste
2 cups cooked rotini pasta
3 ounces shredded chedder cheese or grated parmesan.

Layer broccoli, onion, basil, oregano, thyme, tomatoes and beef broth in slow cooker and cook on LOW 2 1/2 hours.

Combine beef and garlic in large non stick skillet; cook over high het 6 to 8 mins or until meat is no longer pink, breaking apart meat with wooden spoon. Pour off drippings. Add beef mixture to slow cooker. Cover and cook for 2 hours.

Stir in Tomato paste. Add pasta and cheese. Cover and cook 30 mins or until cheese melts and mixture is heated through.

*No idea of the source of the recipe - but it does belong to someone out there.
